Pakistani Karaoke!

If you have never sat amongst a group of colourfully adorned Pakistani women during a pre-wedding celebration, that's unfortunate...because you probably missed out on a flavourful, spicy meal. And you also weren't there when the sweets were handed out - rich and buttery. If that's your cup of tea. Speaking of which, there would be plenty of that too.
But if you have never sat amongst a group of colourfully adorned Pakistani women, one of whom is armed with a dhol (kind of like a sideways drum) and another with a hand-held mic, then that is a down-right shame! Because then you have missed out on watching grown women shriek with laughter as they stop in the middle of a Hindi song when they all start singing different words. This of course, would be subsequently followed by good-natured arguements over who was singing it correctly. Even if you have no idea what they are saying, you wouldn't help but smile and maybe even giggle if you let yourself.
But not too loud! Don't make yourself noticeable or...watch out...that mic will be thrust in your face so fast you will wish you were sitting with the men, discussing whatever it is they discuss, wherever they may be hiding :)
